PLX honored with the SBA 2008 subcontractor of the year award in Washington D.C.
The award PLX received is granted by the United States Small Business Administration for SBA’S Region 2 covering several states in the northeast and is sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Three days of ceremonies were held in Washington DC, including a reception at the White House where President Bush was the keynote speaker.
Among the other featured speakers were former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, Secretary Mike Leavitt, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Ambassador Susan C. Schwab, United States Trade Representative, David Latimore of the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, John Bryant of Operation HOPE, Michael Porter of Harvard University School of Business, other prominent business leaders, CEOs and politicians.
