The Arrowhead program, the U.S. Army's Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS), is a major upgrade to the Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor fire control system on the ÅH-64 Apache helicopter. PLX manufactures the Modified Boresight Module for the system.
The inscription on the Award reads:
“For remarkable success delivering high-quality products
for the Warfighters that secure our freedoms”
PLX was selected for this award out of hundreds of other suppliers to Arrowhead, including many much larger companies.
The Eagle Award follows the Outstanding Small Business Award given to PLX by Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control unit in Orlando, Florida earlier this year. This is the second such award received by PLX in the last three years.
